Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

Okay, you got a new PC. Is the monitor new? 

 

It is very hard to troubleshoot this problem without more details.

 

There are two 590-p0097 products. Both ship from the factory with integrated graphics. So you are not connecting the monitor to the wrong graphics port located at the rear I/O panel.

 

Please provide more information to help with a successful resolution to your problem.
