Hi,
I had bought hp pavilion laptop on September 26th. But I've getting the error message just after switching the laptop power on. It is just 10 days after buying the laptop. I'm not expected this kind of behavior from hp laptops. Because I bought many hp laptops for myself, for my brothers, for my friends and also suggested to many people.
The error message is "The system has detected that a cooling fan is not operating correctly."
"System Fan (90B)"
Please connect with me physically. I'll show my new laptop.
I want the issue to be resolved asap.
Or atleast can someone please give me customer support store in Hyderabad.
I'll go and get it repaired immediately.

Hi @Achyuth777, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The System Fan (90B) error means that your laptop's cooling fan is not functioning properly, which can cause overheating and performance issues. Since your HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-ec0101ax is only 10 days old, here’s what you should do:
Quick Troubleshooting Steps:
Check for Dust or Obstructions:
- Ensure the fan vents are clean and not blocked by dust or debris.
- Use compressed air to clean the vents gently.
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Shut down the laptop.
- Disconnect the charger and remove any external devices.
- Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to discharge residual power.
- Restart and check if the error persists.
Update the BIOS:
- Go to HP support website and download the latest BIOS update for your laptop.
Check HP Hardware Diagnostics:
- Turn off the laptop.
- Press the power button and immediately press the F2 key repeatedly.
- In the HP Diagnostics menu, run the System Test > Fan Test to check for hardware issues.
Verify HP Support Assistant for Updates:
- Install or open HP Support Assistant and check for firmware and driver updates.
