Product: HP OMEN obelisk 875-014
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Help ive tried so many different things. I got a new 750w psu and I bought a new radeon 5700, when i put the new card in my pc doesnt post and it beeps 6 times, 3 deep and 3 high. When i put the old 1060 that comes with the computer it works fine. Ive tried reseating the card, resetting the cmos battery by removing it and putting it back, legacy mode. nothing someone please help.

Hi

 

You probably have a secure boot problem.

 

Check this site https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c04784866 to fix the problem. Scroll down to " What if the PC does not boot properly after installing new hardware". You have to enter a confirmation code to complete this procedure.

 

Verify the PCIe power supply connections to the new card are correct and the new card is properly seated in the PCIe x16 slot.

 

I can only suggest the new card has a problem if you did the BIOS legacy tweak. Can you try the new card in a different PC?
