HP 20-c434 AIO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I cloned the 20-c434 to a Samsung EVO 870 SSD.  When installed internally, it locks up at boot on the "Executing POST Delay" screen (yes, I have POST delay turned on in the BIOS), showing processor and memory info.  ESC and F keys do nothing.

It boots fine with the original hard disk, and booted from the SSD when it was connected via USB.

It did show that it was doing a BIOS update at one point, but I don't think it actually did; the BIOS is 8381 vF.66 05/25/2020.

I used my usual cloning software, then tried two others just in case, but no change.

I've turned off everything (and more) in BIOS that might keep it from booting.

I haven't tried a manual BIOS update; I doubt that's the cause, but I'll try it.

Any ideas?

The BIOS update (from 8381 vF.66 05/25/2020 to 8381 vF.67 08/04/2021) made no difference.
