Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, my mother's HP 8200 Elite SFF Desktop is stuck in a BIOS Update Loop after an Update for Windows 10. We are getting the "1801-MicroCode Update Error",  and keeps looping after the update fails. it currently has BIOS Version 2.15, but when I go to the  HP Drivers Download page for this model, Windows 10 64 bit is not an option, it only goes up to Windows 8, and then version is 5.03..  I'm trying to make a USB Bios Recovery on another PC but idk which version is safe to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since that BIOS version is old, that might also be the explanation for the "1801-MicroCode Update Error"

You will need to go back further than the Windows 8 BIOS.  Pick the Windows 7 choice for Windows 64bit. You will get here or just click the link below

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-compaq-8200-elite-small-form-factor-pc/5037931

and pick the lower selection of

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-compaq-8200-elite-small-form-factor-pc...

Then see if that will install.
