I am glad  you got the correct BIOS.  Our senior expert,   @Paul_Tikkanen , went through a lot of searching to find the correct BIOS.  I noticed the BIOS that worked was ROM family 86EE and the ones listed below are both 86ED

Lookup using 27-D0057C

Lookup using your serial number

Both point to different web pages and both show F.56 and 86ED for the latest bios.

The SKU in that serial number lookup is 13Z70AAR and the ending R indicates a refurbished system.

I do not have any inside HP information and can only guess as to why the BIOS you need was 86EE and not listed in above URLs.

However, if I had known that your ROM SSID was 86EE I would have noticed it was missing in the BIOS version history and that the 86ED was not to be used.

It appears your system is supported in the HP cloud

HP is removing cloud recovery for system over 5 years old. You may want to get a copy of the cloud recovery before it is too late.
Cloud recovery provides all the custom HP drivers.
Go to the below site and enter your product ID including the 3 characters after the # character.  If you have cloud recovery you can restore your system using a 32gb flash.
It may take an hour or more to create the recovery USB.

You might want to update the UEFI diagnostics

If a component is not tested then possibly it is in the updated version of UEFI diagnostics.

HP releases newer UEFI diagnostics periodically.
When you select F2 during boot you are requesting UEFI diagnostics.
There is an updated diagnostics package Click Here
Look for the phrase 'issues outside the OS',
Expand the '+' symbol and click the DOWNLOAD button.
The version of the UEFI diagnostics is shown at the left of that DOWNLOAD button.
When you press F2 to run diagnostics please ensure the version is the new one.

The can be installed from a USB flash drive if necessary else run in windows

If you pass diagnostics then verify you have at least bios  F.51

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/swdetails/hp-pavilion-all-in-one-pc-27-d0000a/model/38811106/sw...

Try cloud recovery, it will have the original drivers.

HP Cloud Recovery Tool (Windows 10 and 11)

The HP Cloud Recovery Tool is an application developed by HP.  It enables customers to access a digital download of their recovery media and create a bootable USB drive (Minimum 32GB) to recover their units back to factory status.

Thank You BeemerBiker

I downloaded the bios update on to a usb and ran it by hitting escape and then booting off the usb.   when i choose BIOS or BIOSUPDATE, it is not showing the files.

See the file listing below.  When I couldn't select the BIOS file, I manually copied the two files (086ED.bin + 086ED.sig) and and put them in all current, previous and new folders. Still not showing,  could you please assist?

I get three options  HP, EFI and Hewlett Packard,  Tried all three

Thanks

Shaw

The last bios that seemed to be useful as F.51.

Version: F.51 Rev.A  Fixed in this release: - This is the initial production candidate BIOS F.51 for 2022 Win11 21H2 Mini-softroll.

All more recent simply were security fixes.

I just wanted to make sure you had DF.51 or a later
If you have f.51 ore newer then do not update the bios.

Since you passed the UEFI diagnostics then the Blue screen is likely a driver issue.

Do you have cloud restore?

HP windows drivers, all of them, are here
I noticed that Linux is not supported.

My UEFI bios on the system is 2.2.8.0

I download UEFI diagnostics 10.7.0.0. into a usb drive and was able to boot it and ran extensive' diagnostics - 3 loops and it didn't find anything.  I don't have an option to update the UEFI BIOS from this USB.   I don't need to as I have this bootable usb to run diagnostics in the future.

I would like to update my bios from the current   86EE Version F.11  2-23-2022 to  F.51 or F.52. I downloaded and installed (both f.51 and f.52) in usb file and it is not finding the bios update bin files?

Pls assist

HP Recommended

I do not know why booting the USB did not install the BIOS.  There is no .exe file in that USB so you cannot just insert the USB and look for "setup" or "install".  The laptop must actually boot up the USB as if it was the main drive.

If windows is working then download the F.51 or the latest and run it from inside windows

Was there a cloud recovery for your system?

Thank You BeemerBiker.

Do you think, I should erase current system and do a recovery using cloud

or

Should I just update all drivers from the product link page ?

What do you think has a better chance of getting rid of the BSOD

If you used the system for several hours (not just left it idle) and then got that error that indicates a possible stress or overheating problem.

I looked at your parts list and did not see an NVidia chip so possibly no discrete GPU.
