Hello. My desktop is not turning on.

@Gladys01 -- the most-likely causes are:

  1. failure of an external power-supply (many All-In-One computers and most laptop computers have an external power-supply)
  2. broken connector where that external power-supply plugs-in to your computer
  3. dead internal power-supply (for a desktop computer)
  4. dead motherboard
  5. dead processor

How much trouble-shooting are you comfortable doing?

If "not a lot", find a local owner/operator computer store, and get professional help.

Is the computer less than 12 months old? If so, contact HP Support, to exercise the HP Warranty to get it fixed, at HP's cost.
