Hi I have an old machine that I’m repurposing for a project. Previous to starting this it was working fine. However, it now won’t carry out the POST test and gets stuck as if it's trying to do a memory test at 3584MB.
I have changed the RAM for new sticks, It currently doesn’t have any HDD attached to it as I was trying to upgrade the OS to windows 10 and it wouldn’t go into the BIOS. I have tried all hte options but it only hangs at 3584.
I have tried resetting the cmos, both with the button and removing the battery.
I have tried the PWD reset jumper and that doesn’t have any effect. I've tried with one stick of ram in dimm 1 and still stops at 3584mb as like the photo.
I'm guessing i have fried something while I was change the drives out - any help would be apprecated.
Confusef_Matt normal boot without pressing keys
Booting waiting to get into the MEBx. Wont go into any options
