Try resetting the CMOS.

That would be the only other suggestion I can offer.

See the troubleshooting guide at the link below, Appendix B, pages 63 & 64 for how to do that.

Were you running W10 on the PC?

If so, install W10 in UEFI mode and the PC will work normally.

To do that, boot your W10 installation flash drive from the EFI USB boot device.

If the EFI USB flash drive does not show up as an option, insert it in either the second USB port from left or the second one from the right.

I have the CMT and to get the USB flash drive to show up in the EFI boot options menu, I had to insert the drive in the second port from the top.

Full solution

=> be aware that HP hardware is always to the top then issue is concerning something else

=> best solution was to start from scratch

=> unplug everything from motherboard except power supply

- with no reset CMOS button remove the CR2032 battery and push ON button several times

- replace battery

- just insert 1 Memory module even you have 4

- plug the power supply to the wall

- switch ON

=> use F1 / F10 to get to bios (CMOS and battery )

=> set to default the bios setting

=> check ACPI on

=> F10 save and exit

=> once boot again, switch it off

=> plug a device like CDROM or Disk with a brand new SATA Cable

=> boot and check if seen in bios

=> once boot again, switch it off

=> plug a bootable USB Key (try USB 2 or USB 3 key) do not use cheap USB Key take a brand new one

=> boot and F9 to check if USB is available for Boot

afterward install Windows 11

Shift F10 to send the 3 cmd :

reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\Setup\LabConfig /v BypassTPMCheck /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f
reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\Setup\LabConfig /v BypassSecureBootCheck /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f
reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\Setup\LabConfig /v BypassRAMCheck /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f

installation will be fast and smooth

at the first boot Windows asking language ...

Shift F10 to restart without check internet

use OOBE\BYPASSNRO

for your time
