hi guys,
the issue I'm having is my EliteDesk 800 G1 will not boot at all!
I was using it one day doing graphic work and it just turned off.. that was months ago..
since I have:
Removed graphics card
replaced power supply
replace ram
repasted the cpu
change fan and heatsync
change cmos bat
and it still will not boot...
I get the power supply fan maxing out at 100%, then 4 continuous beeps and a red blinking power light.
any help would be greatly appreciated, all the automated HP tools have been useless.

Here is the manual for that model. On page 246. it describes the conditions you posted and what might be the cause.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04331008.pdf
Activity Beeps Possible Cause
I cannot get the chart to copy and paste nor can I type it in and expect it to show properly, so go to the manual and have a look. Page 246. The next column to the right lists the recommended action(s) to solve the problem.
I'm not an HP employee.

I found the info I needed on a=page 215? (203 at bottom of page)
power failure, 4 beeps, red led, 5 iterations
ive done everything suggested in this section except from replacing the motherboard, which is no longer available.
I guess this guy is a dead PC.
Thanks for the help anyway.
