Today I've got a refurbed HP EliteDesk 800 G3 Mini PC - Core i5-7500 @ 3,4 GHz - 8GB RAM - 250GB SSD - Win10Pro

After turning on the power button, the PC won't turn on.

On Front Panel Red Power LED flashes three times, with long beeps,

followed by White Power LED flashes four times, with shorter beeps.

This happens in several iterations.

But the PC does not start up. What is going wrong?

Helpful answers would be great, thanks

Michael

Hi, Michael:

There is a problem of some sort with the power.

HP Desktop PCs - Computer beeps or a light blinks during startup | HP® Customer Support

There are 800 G3 65W DM's and there are 800 G3 35W DM's.

They use different processors and power adapters.

The 65W models must use the 90W power adapter and the 35W models can use the 65W or 90W adapters.

So, if you have an 800 G3 65W DM, most likely the wrong power supply (65W) was included.

This is the power supply part number used in the 800 G3 65W DM model series.

Hi Paul,

you are right. They sent me a 65W Power Adapter.

Thank you!
