Hi @Ishrat2 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To assist you better may I know

1. Since when are you facing this issue

2. Have you made any changes on your PC post that this issue raised

If your HP Envy is not starting up properly after a recent update and reset, there are several troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue. Here are some suggestions:

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off your laptop.
  • Disconnect the AC adapter and remove the battery (if possible).
  • Press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the AC adapter and battery (if applicable).
  • Turn on the laptop and check if it starts up.

Boot into Safe Mode:

  • Try booting your laptop into Safe Mode. This will load a minimal set of drivers and may help identify if the issue is related to a recent update or driver conflict.
  • To access Safe Mode, restart your computer and press the F8 key repeatedly before the Windows logo appears. If that doesn't work, check the specific key or combination required for your device to enter Safe Mode.

Use External Monitor:

  • Connect your laptop to an external monitor to see if the issue is with the laptop screen. If the external monitor displays the content, there may be an issue with the laptop's display.

Check for BIOS/UEFI Update:

  • Visit the HP support website and check if there is a BIOS or UEFI firmware update available for your laptop. If there is, follow the instructions to update the firmware.

Recovery Options:

  • If you have a Windows installation or recovery media, you can use it to access recovery options. Boot from the installation media and choose the repair or troubleshooting options.

System Restore:

  • If you have a restore point created before the update, you can perform a system restore to revert your system to a previous state.
  • Boot from a Windows installation media, choose repair and then select system restore.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
