Can someone teach me how to flash my HP Omen 30L BIOS with USB ?

I looked for the BIOS updates for that model.  There are two, both dated Sep 5, 2021.

One is for the HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS Update (ROM Family SSID 8704) and the other is for HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS Update (ROM Family SSID 8703).  So first you need to find which version is for your PC. I found for model this page

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/omen-desktop-pc-30l-gt13-0000i/33492325/model/37705...

Then click on the BIOS listing.  You will see the two versions listed that I posted.  Click on the version you need but click on the title "HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS" then you will see an explanation for that download.  Click on the "See full details" in Blue.

When that page opens you will then see a "Download" button.  In order to flash the BIOS from a USB, then that download needs to be on the flash drive.

Under the explanation for installing you will see

1. Download the file by clicking the Download or Obtain Software button and saving the file to a folder on your hard drive (make a note of the folder where the downloaded file is saved).
2. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

So either make a note as to where that file went when it down loaded or tell it ahead of time where to place that file.  Move the file to the flash drive - which is really only useful if you are doing more than one model that uses the same BIOS.  Then double click on the BIOS download.  It will usually only work if in a supported Windows environment, so not useful for flash outside of Windows.

There are other BIOS's that you can flash while not in Windows but most updates in this day and age are made to flash from inside Windows.

I'm not an HP employee.
