My HP Omen 30L turns on normally but doesn’t give any input to the monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, or mic. I get power to my streamdeck but it’s just the streamdeck logo. I’ve tried unplugging unneccesary things like the streamdeck and webcams. I’ve reseated the SSD, GPU, PSU, and CMOS battery. I’ve tried a cheaper GPU just to try to get an imagine, but nothing. The day before this happened, I got random lag spikes. Unsure if they’re related but at this point I think it is.

Hi @lilshartu,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand the issue you're describing suggests a potential hardware failure, possibly related to the motherboard, power supply, or GPU.
Here are some steps you can follow to further diagnose and potentially resolve the issue:
May I know
1. Since when are you facing this issue
2. have you made any changes on your PC post that this issue was raised and have you observed any light blinking on the display or error code?
Basic Checks
Power Supply Check:
- Ensure the power supply is delivering the necessary power. Check the connections to the motherboard, CPU, and GPU.
- Try using a different power supply if available to rule out power supply issues.
Motherboard Diagnostic LEDs/Beep Codes:
- Check if your motherboard has diagnostic LEDs or beep codes that could indicate what the problem is. Refer to your motherboard's manual for specific codes and their meanings.
Clear CMOS:
- Since you've already reseated the CMOS battery, try clearing the CMOS by using the jumper on the motherboard. This can reset the BIOS settings to default.
Component Isolation
Remove All Peripherals:
- Disconnect all peripherals (including the streamdeck, headset, and mic).
- Connect only the essential components: monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
Test with Minimal Setup:
- Try booting the system with only the essential components: motherboard, CPU, one stick of RAM, and the GPU.
- If possible, try booting without the GPU (if your CPU has integrated graphics) to see if you can get a display output.
RAM Check:
- Try using only one stick of RAM and test in different slots. Repeat with other sticks if you have more than one.
Advanced Troubleshooting
Check for Overheating:
- Ensure all fans are working and there is no dust buildup that could cause overheating.
- Check thermal paste application on the CPU.
Reinstall GPU and Other Components:
- Ensure the GPU and other components are properly seated.
- Make sure all power connectors to the GPU are securely connected.
Test Components in Another System:
- If possible, test your GPU, RAM, and PSU in another compatible system to rule out component failure.
Potential Issues and Next Steps
- Motherboard Failure: If all components work in another system and you've ruled out the PSU, the motherboard might be faulty.
- BIOS Corruption: If you have a way to reflash the BIOS, consider doing that as a last resort.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
