OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-1000a (207P7AV)

No matter what I do secure boot wont actually enable.

I've tried:
Disabling and enabling Secure Boot in BIOS
Clearing keys
Loading HP Default Keys
Clearing TPM in windows
All windows updates and optional updates are installed
All drivers are up to date
My BIOS is also up to date [ F.22 ]
Ive reset my CMOS multiple times
Ive reset the bios to default settings
Reinstalled Windows multiple times
Added a Admin password into bios
Yes my TPM is 2.0 and my drives are GPT and obviously im in UEFI mode because the restricted OMEN bios doesnt let you be in legacy mode to start with

at this point im out of ideas and ive already been at this for 15+ hours

You and I have the same issue, I've been trying to fix this for 2 days.

We're going to have to wait it out I guess until HP/ Windows comes out with a fix.

I was hoping to play the Battlefield Beta (requires secure boot on) but with no luck.

Yeah i was hoping to play the beta myself since I have early access . I highly doubt HP fixes this but we'll see. I was able to play for 3 hours without having secure boot enabled just by constantly launching the game but the core issue of secure boot not working still exists

Check this HP Forum link for insight on what's going on.

HP will have to release a new BIOS for all affected MBs to update the Secure Boot platform security key (PK) database.

Any rough idea on how lomg something like this could normally take? Its very off putting to have everyone else who isnt running an omen playing the game but im sitting here unable to see half the bios settings they can.

Yeah same here. I hope they push out a patch before the beta ends.

I think the last BIOS update they did was like 2-3 months ago aswell. HP really isn't ontop of things and its disappointing to see. I highly doubt this issue will get fixed anytime soon but ill eat my words if it does.

We really need to find a way to push this to someone who can actually fix the issue and push out a patch. Its so frustrating not being able to do play these new games that require secure boot on. I have had no issues out of my omen until now. I have the same MB, but if this isn't resolved before the beta is over idk if I'll buy another omen. I hope we can get this issue to pick up traction.

I don't work for HP.

I have no idea when HP will fix this problem.

Unfortunately the first week of the beta ends in around 30 mins and we have no word on any potential fixes or updates. I was able to get 21 hours out of the beta without secure boot being enable just by spamming the play button and hoping the anti cheat didn't detect mine was off.  Even with me spamming the play button its not reliable because the game needs to be restarted after every few matches because of a in game bug. Hopefully we get some sort of fix before the next beta this Thursday. The fact that the bios is locked to begin with while any other prebuilt PC doesn't lock their bios automatically made me lose any sort of interest in buying a OMEN in the future.
