Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have NEVER been able to update the bios on this machine. Every time I try to do an update, it gets stuck in this boot loop where it turns on, then shuts off all prior to anything showing up on the monitor. Then this issue repeats, over and over. I have to unplug the unit and remove the display card to get to the battery. Remove the battery for 5 minutes and reinstall. Then the computer will boot back to the old bios. What is the solution to this? I contacted HP, but they were never able to solve my issue. So here I sit with a computer that has an old bios and unable to update it properly.

I see FIVE choices for the BIOS.

If you download & run one of the items, you will get an option to create a "bootable" USB memory-stick.

Boot your computer from that memory-stick, and the BIOS will get updated.
