PC was running just fine. Had a power outage and now I cannot power up the PC. I have had this only 3 days. This is the 2nd day of operating it.

Help

Should I return it to the store and exchange for another one?

Check and make sure the power cord is plugged in snugly to the PC and the wall outlet/surge protector and any appropriate light switch operating that wall outlet is turned on.

Press and hold the power button on the pc for 4 seconds to power it off completely, wait 5 seconds and press the power button once to start it up.

See if you hear the fan or see lights, if you do and the monitor isn't showing up then the monitor may be powered off.

Sometimes with new pc's, the display and the pc are set to go to sleep and then they won't wake without manually pressing the power button.

If that's the case then right-click on the desktop and choose Display Properties and make a new power profile or set the display and the pc not to sleep until you have it set like you want.
