Omni 100-5155
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

There are no error messages as the screen never comes on.  Client reports the screen was on and stepped out of room and when he came back nothing on the screen.

Ah no it wasn't the power supply.   I got back on the hard drive once removed from system.  It seems system just won't boot.   I relegated it to the trash and provided the information to the client.   Actually it looked like someone had started a clean restore and wiped out all his programs and data.    Hated to give him the news;  he said the laptop I gave him was working fine.    Sorry I didn't reply to this sooner.   I got busy elsewhere and just getting back out here.  Found I hadn't closed this.   We good here.  Thanks!

@123stooge, welcome to the forum.

Since the computer is over 6 years old, I suspect the power supply unit (PSU).  This is one component that won't provide an error message when it fails.
