I have an older HP Pavilion 500-439 desktop PC that I would like to upgrade to the latest bios.

Can you tell me what the latest version is and where I can download a copy?

HP has retired support for your PC since it is more than 10 years old.

It comes with a HP ' Memphis-S' motherboard which has a BIOS SSID of 2AF7.

 

Below are the info and exe file links to the last BIOS update HP released for the 2AF7 motherboard:

 

After you install this update you cannot go back to an earlier version.
