This morning my Pavilion 27 All-in-One model 27-d0057c was off. It was working the day before. When I press the ON button on the back lower right side nothing happens. If I press it again, the screen menu comes on to adjust the screen but still will not start so it is getting power and can do something.
I have done the only troubleshooting that I could find posted online which is unplug, hold the ON button for 5 or 30 secs to discharge the components, and then try to power up. No change.
I have seen some YouTube videos where they take the back off and remove the battery and short something which I assume is to discharge the components. I would like to avoid that but the only thing that I have to work with is the power cord and the ON button on the outside.
It definitely is getting power. It is a SDD so I will not hear a drive spin up. Or a fan.
I am at a complete loss as to what to do now. Has anyone had this kind of problem before where the computer just will not boot?
Any suggestions would be appreciated

I don't really see what else you can try other than what is said in the links I gave
you must check the conditions of your country,
The Hp warranty is generally one year from purchase
If you are in the European Union, the hp warranty is one year, but there is a special consumer warranty of 2 years (or more depending on the country) but payable by the seller.

I have a update. I removed the screen from the back cover and removed the battery, reseated the memory, reset the CMOS, and tried to power it back on and nothing. Now that I can see the inside of the inside of the computer I noticed the fan was not on or anything else.
I would suspect the power supply except the monitor menu is coming on so power is being supplied to that. Just nothing else.
Now I am really stumped as to what the problem could be.

hi
sorry, at this level I doubt that anyone here can give you a solution
You have already done the tests that can allow a restart in the event of a problem
You may have a problem with the power supply, the motherboard, or one of its components.
You must consult a professional, make a repair estimate
Personally I would not make you buy random equipment to try: sorry
Test for hardware failures when Windows doesn't start
I'm pretty sure you can't even do the tests as mentioned here

Thank you for getting back to me so soon.
So outside of resetting the CMOS there is nothing else that can be done?
What is HPs warranty on something like this? Where there is a sudden total failure of the computer
