HP Pavilion Desktop - 550-110
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

HP Pavilion Desktop - 550-110, cannot get past page_fault_in_nonpaged_area blue screen.

Upon power on the blue screen appears, page_fault_in_nonpaged_area with no other info.  Then PC restarts, over and over again. I ran the HP F2 (hitting F2 immediately upon power on, before blue screen appears) System Extensive Test and all systems 'passed'. Similarly, I ran F11 DPS self=test, completion code was 0 (test successful).

No new HW or SW that I am aware of.  Is this a malware hack?  Is this a system failure?

Typically, this is a memory problem.  Either physical memory is bad or the virtual memory (page file) that resides on the HDD or SDD includes a bad sector.

Please press ESC after powering on and run both the memory and disk drive tests

If the tests pass then possibly a bad driver so post back here.

Are you sure you are running the 32bit version of windows?
