HP Pavilion Desktop PC 570-p0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have an HP Pavilion Desktop PC 570-p0xx (p026) with a product code of  Z5L89AA#ABA and noticed in the Bios system log two codes that I need help understanding what they mean. I'm only see the two entries in the system log code;

0502-010109-000048

0502-010109-000108

I checked the bios system log code because the system starting randomly displaying a series of dots in the password login window.

Computer is virus/malware/spyware free. DISM/sfc/scannow fixed whatever issues it found. All drivers are updated to date along with Windows OS.

When I removed the usb, mouse & keyboard drivers, it seemed to go away but then reappeared. Today I disconnected all the cables to the mainboard and memory and so far after 5 hours it's been running fine. Just want to know if the two codes in the system log are related to CMOS. Haven't found any CMOS errors on boot or in any of the windows log files.

Thank you, David

Those "random dots" indicate that Windows has saved the password, so that you don't need to enter it.

if you click on one of the events, does any "item specific help" appear in the right-side window?
