Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have an HPE-565at Pavilion Elite HPE desktop machine. How can I update the BIOS to be able to boot from nvme. The nvme disk is inserted via PCI-E adapter.

Thanks for the help!

Hi @Peromajstore

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Sorry, it looks like HP has retired support options for your PC. So, HP drivers or HP BIOS updates are no longer available.

The best you could do, if you can install the required NVME driver on W7, would be to use the NVME drive as a data drive.

Regards

Hi @Peromajstore

My pleasure.

You should be able to do a bootable 2.5 inch SATA SSD upgrade. You can copy or install the operating system to the SATA SSD.

SATA SSDs are much faster than platter HDDs.

Yes, I already have an 128GB SSD, but I wanted to free up a SATA and a power connector.  🙂
