Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Pavillion All in One Model 24-XA1014, when i press one of the buttons on right edge of PC, a screen blank screen comes on with a yellow triangle asking "Check HDMI-IN Cable"

When I press the ON button on left of PC, it starts up normally.

What is the HDMI-IN cable required or used for?

That is for an external device such as Games consoles (when you use your computer as a normal screen/display/monitor). The button is the on/off switch for HDMI-IN port which tell your machine to use its screen monitor for external device only. I don't know why it is set to ON by default.

Regards.
