Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi I have a HP Pavillion All in One Touchscreen, Product Code N8X85EA#ABU

PC won't get past start-up blue screen AUTOMATIC REPAIR - RUNNING DIAGNOSTICS etc., I can access the tools and have tried all to fix the error message ACPI_BIOS_ERROR but no luck so far. I can get to the MS DOS Command Input screen but I haven't got a clue to what input I should make beyond.

Run CHKDSC/F - unable to recover

I have run Reset to factory settings ( I have no valuable content to worry about)

Currently looking at loading a USB with 'sp165721' Application downloaded from the HP website.

Any help would be appreciated.

Guy

You can make a USB BIOS recovery/update flash drive with the  A0.10 BIOS update file using another Windows PC.

sp93434.exe

This link explains how to create and use the BIOS recovery flash drive.
