Hi @Tommy326 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the issue you're experiencing with your HP Pavilion All-in-One 27-r014 not booting past the HP logo after a power outage could be related to several potential causes, such as corrupted system files, hardware issues, or power-related problems.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:

1. Power Cycle the Computer

  • Disconnect the power cable from the computer.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15-20 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cable and try turning the computer on again.

2. Perform a Hard Reset

  • Disconnect all external devices (USB drives, printers, etc.) except the keyboard and mouse.
  • Turn off the computer and unplug the power cable.
  • Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds to drain any residual power.
  • Plug the power cable back in and try booting the computer again.

3. Access Advanced Boot Options

  • Turn on the computer and immediately start pressing the F11 key repeatedly until the "Choose an option" screen appears.
  • Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair and follow the on-screen instructions.

4. Boot into Safe Mode

  • Restart the computer and keep pressing the F8 key (or Shift + F8 in some cases) to access the Advanced Boot Options menu.
  • Select Safe Mode and see if the computer boots into Windows. If it does, there might be a software conflict causing the issue.

5. Reset BIOS/UEFI Settings

  • Turn on the computer and immediately start pressing the Esc key repeatedly to access the Startup Menu.
  • Press the F10 key to enter the BIOS Setup Utility.
  • Press F9 to load the default settings and F10 to save and exit.
  • Try booting the computer again.

6. Check for Hardware Issues  HP PCs - Testing for hardware failures

  • If you have experience with hardware, you might want to open the back of the All-in-One and check the RAM and storage connections. Sometimes, reseating these components can help resolve boot issues.

7. Perform a System Restore

  • If you can access the Advanced Boot Options (using F11 or F8), try performing a System Restore to revert the computer to a point before the power outage.

8. Check Hard Drive Health

  • If possible, access the BIOS/UEFI settings (F10 during boot) and look for any options to run a diagnostic test on the hard drive. If the hard drive is failing, it might prevent the system from booting.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
