Hello! Laptop charged fine until today, when I noticed after it been connected to the charger all day that the batter was low. Even though it was plugged in, wasnt charging and it has now died and will not turn on. I tried holding the power button for 20-30 seconds and that did not work. Please advise!
Sounds like your power brick or power cable is dead. Also if the plug on the end of the charge cable is a thin barrel (the bit that plugs into your laptop) then check the pin inside the barrel and make sure it's not bent up against the inside wall of the barrel. If it is use a fine metal tool to coax it back into place. Make sure its unplugged before you do it and leave it for a few mins to discharge before attempting.
