Welcome to the forum.
I am not a HP employee.
You may be able to flash the BIOS (Link to BIOS update) by following instructions here (Link). Note, this BIOS update is also supported on WIndows 7.
Check BIOS update instructions when Windows does not start.
You may have to contact HP Support if flashing the BIOS fails.

I had this issue as well, support assist detected that there is an update for my bios, I ran it and it seemed to install sucessfully, my pc turned off and when it powered back on I just hear eight long beeps and nothing happens further, how do I roll back or recover my pc bios update that failed?
