Dear All,

I just bougth a pre-owned HP elitedesk 800 G4  and I faced with an issue.
Instead of the Windows login page I see only black srceen and the indows is not loading (or I do not see it in the screen).
The process: After I switch on everything goes well:
Booting, Protected by HP Sure Start and the logo is visible, a round starts to rotate under the text and the Windows login sound can be heard. Normally you can see the wallpaper and the login page, but at this point I can't see only a black sreen. The screen is operating, it is visible in the dark, but there is no content on it.
The led on the case is lighting randomly, the cooler is working in a normal way, but nothing happening.

If I switch off and on again the PC it starts normally.

What I did:

Windows reset - however I bought the PC with a clean windows, Windows updates, Hp software downloaded, All recomended drivers and updates installed. USB devices (mouse, keyboard) removed, ram, cpu, m2 ssd tested.

Potential problem source: I use DP to HDMI adapter (Hama, not a cheap one) and HDMI cable, because my screen has no DP. Perhaps I could change the adapter, but I am not sure that it is the problem.

I thnink it is a software, furthermore BIOS setting problem.

What is your opinion? How can I fix this issue?

Thanks in advance!

Problem solved:
HDMI Cable and adapter changed to a HDMI-DP cable.  Works fine!
