Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On my HP22-b016 I just installed a external Samsung SSD and cloned the disk.  I upgraded the bios system and firmware.  The device shows up normally on windows device manager without error.  I don't know if I am actually booting from it and expect I am not as boot up is still very slow.

@YooperPI -- in Windows 10, when you open the Windows "Task Manager", and switch to the "Performance" tab, which HDD/SSD is showing as "Disk 0" or as "Disk 1" ? Each device should be listed with the name of the manufacturer, and the storage capacity. So, you should be able to identify the SSD.

Do the graphs show that one device is "0%" busy?  That device is NOT likely to be your "boot" device.

After doing the "cloning", did you detach the "external" device, and reconnect the SSD as an "internal" device?

Did you enter BIOS SETUP, to access the list of "bootable" devices, and reconfigure to promote the SSD to be the "first" bootable device?

hi @YooperPI   @itsmyname

" I just installed a external Samsung SSD and cloned the disk "

@itsmyname  see if it has an external drive installed, it's most definitely not configured to boot from media probably usb!
And if it is possible with this model..
It is clear that there it does not start from this ssd disk, if nothing has been modified, and if possible
