Microsoft Windows 11

I cannot get my computer to boot up. I power it on and after a while it lands on this screen.

I have tried to reset the BIOS and no change. I created a boot USB, but that didn't work and it gave me this screen:

I'm not sure what to do next. Please help!

Boot into bios and check if your windows drive is detected in bios or not. Check information tab, boot menu tab.

And how exactly this happens?

HP Recommended

The windows drive (256 Gb SSD) is not detected in BIOS. The boot menu tab does not show any type of drive. The information tab also does not show any drive. I typically do not shut off my computer. I restart it once a week and the rest of the time I let it go to sleep. I sat down to use it and the no hard drive found screen was showing before I did anything at all.

Reseat the Hard Drive:

  • Power down the laptop and unplug all cables.
  • Remove the back cover of the notebook.
  • Find and remove the hard drive, clean its contacts gently and reinsert it into its slot properly. (Do not scrub the contacts or use water/metal tools. If there is visible dust, use gentle air or a lint-free swab with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol, then let it dry fully.)
  • Check the hard drive connections, ensuring they're secure.
  • Now check if it work

If this doesn't work then SSD or your windows drive is likely damaged. But need to confirm if it's slot or ssd (likely). Do you have any other windows system or bootable usb? Or another same storage slot in your pc?
