How can I disable beeps during BIOS update

We have a fleet of HP EliteOne 800 G2 Desktops that need the BIOS updated. There are several thousand of these in critical medical environments that the typical BIOS update BEEPS awould interrupt with a degree of panic as the BEEPS sound exactly like medical alert equipment.

Is there a way to turn off the BEEPS whne updating BIOS? Thanks..

Can you "silently" change a BIOS option, e.g., disable the onboard sound-card, without causing a "beep" as the computer reboots?

If you can, will the "full" BIOS-update then NOT be able to "beep" ?

Of course, after the "full" update, enable the onboard sound-card.  This might cause a "beep" as the computer reboots.

Just need to identify a way to deploy that process across the entire fleet now...!

Most computers have an option within the BIOS SETUP to "power-up" at a given date/time, e.g., every Sunday at 3 AM.

Sometimes, "wake-on-LAN-activity" is an option within BIOS SETUP -- a "magic packet" will wake-up a sleeping computer.

Read about "INTEL AMT" -- this a method for "remote management" of an AMT-enabled computer.

Of course, you may have to "site-visit" each already-deployed computer to locally change the BIOS settings, before you can leverage AMT to "remotely" make further changes.
