Hi @ConerRK,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're experiencing a black screen and are unable to access the BIOS on your OMEN 25L desktop, there are a few potential solutions you can try.
- Check the display connection: Ensure that the display cable is securely connected to both the desktop and the monitor. If possible, try using a different cable or port to rule out any connection issues.
- Restart your computer: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve certain issues. Turn off your computer completely, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. Try accessing the BIOS again.
- Use the appropriate key: Different computer manufacturers use different keys to access the BIOS. For an OMEN 25L desktop, try pressing the "Esc" key repeatedly or the "F10" key during the boot process. This should prompt the computer to enter the BIOS. If these keys don't work, consult the OMEN 25L desktop's user manual or the manufacturer's website for the correct key.
- Clear CMOS: Clearing the CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) can sometimes help resolve BIOS-related issues. To do this, turn off your computer and unplug it from the power source. Open the desktop case and locate the CMOS battery on the motherboard. Remove the battery for a few seconds and then reinsert it. Close the case, plug in the power, and turn on your computer. Try accessing the BIOS again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
