I recently upgraded my CPU to an i9-11900K, and the BIOS has been protesting my decision by giving me POST error 90E: Power Supply fan is not connected or may have malfunctioned
I understand that the Z2 Tower lineup has many different CPU coolers, and upgrading the CPU will cause the BIOS to want me to put in the 125W cooler instead of the 65W one. However, I stressed tested the CPU, and the 65W cooler does fine (I kind of like the jet engine noises, it gives it personality). Is there a way to program the BIOS to bypass or ignore this post error automatically, or maybe HP can send a special BIOS update for this specific issue? I have also tried looking for the 125W cooler, M10277-001, and it doesn't seem to be for sale on the HP site, eBay, or other computer electronics websites (the one with a 5-pin connector, my current cooler has only 4 active pins which causes the post error). My current BIOS version is HP T-50 01.06.03.
