Product: HP Pavilion a6200n Desktop PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista

Ever since I updated the bios on my HP Pavilion the boot time is slower (in bios) so I was wondering if I can downgrade my bios from 5.27 to 5.02

It looks like main stream support by HP for this PC is gone.

 

How did you get the newer BIOS version 5.27 for the PC? I can't find any online HP support.

 

Do you have BIOS version 5.02 in your possession?

I downloaded BIOS version 5.27 off a third-party website and no I do not have version 5.02 in my possession as it was the original version the pc had when I bought it.

Thanks for the info.

 

There is not much you can do since BIOS version 5.02 is not available from HP.

 

I would not trust BIOS updates from third party sites.
