How to know the BOIS need update.(I know the version in my desktop)

If your PC's support page has more than one BIOS update listed, you need to know the motherboard SSID to select the corresponding BIOS update for that SSID.

 

To find the motherboard SSID do the following:

 

In the search feature on the Windows taskbar:

 

Type: System Information

 

Run the app and look for the Baseboard Product line about 1/3 of the way down on the report.

 

The baseboard product info is the same as the motherboard SSID
