Are you sure your PC has a DVD drive?

 

Most of the newer desktop PC's don't have one.

 

They put a filler where the DVD drive goes.

 

Do you see a DVD drive listed in 'This PC' where you see the hard drive listed?

 

How to See All Drives Available on the Computer (computerhope.com)

 

If not, your PC does not have an optical drive.
