NO HD detected on my  fairly new pavilion all in one 27-xa0014 which comes with 256GB SSD. How to open up the pc and have a check? there is only on screw directly under the stand. The speaker mesh seems. un-movable even with flat screw driver. Please help.

what is happening exactly?
you say it is new, so under warranty?
if so, given the fragility of this type of device, I would advise against opening it, otherwise the warranty may be voided

 

please perform the hardware tests
everything is explained in this link

you may have an error code , failure ID (24-digit code) , as shown

I imagine that unless you purchased an extended warranty for your PC, the 1-year warranty has expired by now, since it has an Intel 8th gen core processor.

Hi @Paul_Tikkanen,  thanks for the info. Unfortunately the warranty has expired.  I viewed the video clip you provided before posting. It was close but not exactly the same as mine with single arm stand. I did extensive search online and the HP AiO 27-xa0014 models don't have same way to open. Some can access from speaker mesh. I tried on speaker mesh with no avail. My model year is 2019 (was purchased earlier 2022 and sit most of time). But I didn't find any video clips and user manual showing how to access the PC for service.
