HP ENVY Desktop PC TPE01-2000i (1K4E8AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I accidentally security lock the pci 16 channel for the graphics card in the bios of hp envy tp01 2xxx. On restart the pc has 3 long beeps and 3 short beeps. The error code indicates a problem with the graphics card. How do I remove this security lock.

Hi @geraldMichael

Welcome to the HP Forum.

You may have to remove and reinstall the CR2032 MB battery to reset CMOS to fix this. This will set the BIOS to factory defaults.

Do this when the PC is off and disconnected from AC power. Depress the power button to drain residual power from the MB before doing this.
