How to turn off "HP PC hardware diagnostics UEFI" popup on my boot.

 Hi

When i boot my laptop, there is an popup in a grey screen, headed "HP PC hardware diagnostics UEFI."

If i strike Esc key it asks for conformation and goes to OS booting..

But that grey screen is popping up every single time when i switch on my PC.

How to turn off that prompt.

I reviewed the case regarding issues with the computer. I will be delighted to assist you here.  

Superb description, brilliant troubleshooting and terrific observations made before posting. Kudos to you for that. 😉 

1. Go to the Start Menu, type msconfig in the search box, and press Enter.

   • Note: If you are running Windows 8, go to the Start Screen and simply begin typing msconfig. Press Enter or click on the program in the search results to launch it.

2. Click on the Boot tab.

3. Un-check the Safe boot check box under Boot options.
