Microsoft Windows 11

I recently just bought a hp omen 30l, I booted it up and everything worked fine for awhile I went into hp omen software and overclocked the ram, then when I tried launching a game the screen would go black and it just wouldn't do anything till I turned it off but when I tried turning it back on it beeped 3 times long and 3 times short I tried everything from reseating ram to gpu and resetting the cmos and I figured out when I took out the ram and booted it up no beeps nothing but when I put the ram in it would beep no matter how I seated the ram so maybe it's because I overclocked it? Or is it just faulty ram bc it all leads back to the ram being the problem I've been working on it for days trying to figure it out and can anyone help or knows any solutions I would appreciate it!.

According to the beep code troubleshooting link, the 3.3 beep code indicates a graphics chip/card failure.

I tried it without the gpu and Just the ram and and it still beeped but I did it with gpu and no ram and it didn’t beep so maybe it’s because the ram is faulty?

What model processor does your PC come with?

Some processors do not support the onboard graphics and must have a graphics card installed.

Since you can't get into the PC to run the Windows memory test, the only way to test the memory would be to remove all of the memory chips and test each one individually in the primary memory slot.

If the PC boots up with any memory chip and then you install one and you get the problem, then you can confirm it's a bad memory chip and replace it.

It has a ryzen 5 5600g for cpu, And a Rtx 3060 12gb for gpp, And  I’ve tried each one of the two memory sticks,

And jt has booted a couple times but for a short while then it goes black and I turn it off and then it beeps again and I haven’t been able to get it to post anymore no matter how many times I’ve tried to move the ram sticks so do you think it could possibly faulty ram bc it only beeps when I have one of the two rams in the slots there’s 4 ram slots btw so I which slot should I keep trying?

The Ryzen 5 5600g supports the onboard Vega graphics so that's not the problem.

You should be testing the memory in the slot furthest away from the processor (DIMM 1).

Just tried that with both sticks and still got beeps with both, But once again I tested without the sticks there’s no beep so should I just buy new ram?

That's up to you.

I would just buy one stick for now, because there's is a good chance you fried the motherboard by overclocking the PC.

Install it in DIMM 1 and if the PC boots up and works, then you can buy more memory for it.

I overclocked it with the hp open application from 3200mhz to 3400mhz it was a preset overclock so I don’t know how it would’ve fried the motherboard maybe the ram just had bad chips or got damaged which is what I’m thinking
