Hello,
Every time I try to load a game I get to the loading screen and then my monitors will go black and I have to wait for my pc to restart. I have little knowledge about computers and have tried everything that I can think of as well as what the internet has told me to do. I swapped out my PSU thinking that that was the cause, I have updated all Windows updates, all Nvidia drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled the Nvidia drivers, fresh started Windows, swapped out my Bios battery, cleaned my pc, cleaned my ram, swapped out media cables, added more fans to lower temps, ran all of the diagnostic test that are available: hardware, storage, software, all passed. Nothing has worked. The only thing I haven't tried is swapping out the GPU but according to tests there is nothing wrong with it. My temps are all staying in a decent range ever since I have added fans and even before I did so I don't think it is an overheating issue. I have read through tons of articles and tried everything to troubleshoot. I'm at my wits end and this post is my hail mary to figure this out. The computer runs completely fine, until I try to boot a game. Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that your notebook screen is fleckering while games, I am glad to assist you.
Update the Bios, chipset, and drivers using HP Support Assistant.
Download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: Click here
- HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
- Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
- Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
- Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
- Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
- Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also, ensure Windows is up to date.
- Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available
Let me know how it goes.
To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
Cheers.
