Hey, I recently enameled xmp on my hp omen 25L now it won’t boot into anything it seems, not even bios.
i have tried spamming esc key, taking out cmos for 1-2 minutes, and holding power button!!
i am currently leaving the Cmos battery out over night please help me
(also i may be delusional but im 80% sure i saw the ram profiles at 1777 clock speeds i turned it on to 3200, one of the ram came from my 2ND hp omen desktop [2x 8gb] so yea im not getting any display.)
it was working prior up until i did 3200mhz

Hi @Jackneedshelp6,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your PC!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It sounds like enabling XMP (Extreme Memory Profile) caused an instability issue, likely due to RAM incompatibility or overclocking failure. Since your PC isn't even booting into BIOS, here’s what you can try:
Try a CMOS Reset Again (Longer Duration)
Unplug the PC from power.
Remove the CMOS battery and leave it out for at least 15-30 minutes (overnight is fine).
Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds while the battery is out (this drains residual power).
Put the CMOS battery back in, reconnect power, and try booting again.
Boot with One RAM Stick
Since you mixed RAM modules from two different HP Omen desktops, XMP might be unstable. Try this:
Turn off your PC and unplug it.
Remove all RAM sticks.
Insert only one stick into Slot 1 (the slot closest to the CPU).
Try booting. If it doesn’t work, swap for the other stick and test again.
Boot into Safe Mode or BIOS Recovery
Try getting into BIOS Recovery Mode:
Turn off your PC completely.
Hold down Win + B and press the Power button.
Keep holding Win + B for 5-10 seconds until you see a recovery screen.
If you get into BIOS, disable XMP and revert to default settings.
Try a Different RAM Frequency
If you get back into BIOS:
Disable XMP completely.
Manually set the RAM speed to a lower frequency like 2666MHz or 2933MHz instead of 3200MHz.
Save changes and restart.
Let me know how it goes.
