Microsoft Windows 11

HP 22-dd0123w 21.5" FHD All-in-One Intel Pentium Silver J5040 2.0GHz 4GB RAM 128GB SSD Windows 11 Home S Mode. I shut it down properly, now it will not turn on. I can see where it plugs into the back that the power supply is working as there is a little light. But it won't turn on no noises nothing.

Hard Reset - Diagnostics

On a desktop system, unplug computer.
If the power cord has a transformer (wall wart) unplug from the computer.
Press the power button 2-3 times to discharge residual electricity.

Plug back in then ---

A hard reset should fix the problem

  • Turn on the computer by holding the power button down for 20 full seconds then release.
  • Press the Power button one more time (if necessary) to start the computer.
  • Tap the ESC key about once a second after you see the LEDs on the keyboard flash.
  • Press F2 to run diagnostics: (v) 2.6 or later is recommended.

Makes sure you can pass the memory and disk test. If you still cannot power up then check warranty

I did the steps exactly as stated, it didn't turn on. It doesn't make sense because it worked perfectly fine one day, I shut it down and now it won't start back up. I have tried a different power supply with no change. It has the little light in the back where it plugs in that is on but when I push the power button it doesn't do a thing.
