Borrow a second monitor or attach a TV set and see if it works.
It is possible that windows needs to run before the second monitor is recognized. Try to login "blind"
If you hear the windows "tada" then the login worked.
Press the windows key and the letter "p" to enable the second monitor. **
general help on startup with black screen

** you will need to move the cursor down and press enter to get "duplicate screen"
