I have stop code IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL. What failed: ntoskrnl.exe. What does this mean?

This error could be memory related. It's difficult to zoom in on the specific cause of a Windows error using Windows Stop Codes.

Check your PC's hardware using HP Diagnostics as follows:

Start the PC. Repeatedly tap the "ESC" key.

Select "F2". Run extensive system and component tests to confirm: a drive problem, a memory problem, or other component problem.
