@solo2710, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're trying to connect your PlayStation 5 (PS5) to your white HP monitor but can't find the HDMI channel, here are a few steps to help you get set up:

Check Monitor Model
First, identify the exact model of your HP monitor. You can usually find this on a sticker at the back of the monitor. This helps confirm if it has an HDMI input.

Connect the HDMI Cable

  • Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI OUT port on your PS5.
  • Plug the other end into the HDMI IN port on your HP monitor.

Switch to HDMI Input on Monitor

  • Press the Menu or Input button on your monitor (usually located on the bottom or side bezel).
  • Use the on-screen menu to switch the input source to HDMI.
  • If there are multiple HDMI ports, try each one (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2).

No Signal? Try This:

  • Make sure the PS5 is powered on.
  • Try a different HDMI cable or port.
  • Restart both the PS5 and the monitor.
  • If your monitor doesn’t have built-in speakers, you’ll need external speakers or a headset for audio.

Still Not Working?

Some HP monitors may default to another input. You can refer to your monitor’s user manual for exact instructions. If you don’t have it, you can find it by searching your model on the HP Support site.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
