Hi @Gaia2015

It sounds like you have video but no USB function if you can't get to the BIOS.

Enter the BIOS:

Start the PC. Repeatedly tap "ESC". Select "F10" to enter the BIOS.

Check this Site and read all posts to see what is happening. A Serial ISP BIOS programmer cannot be used to fix this problem. No BIOS files are available to perform this procedure.

Your PC has the MonkD MB.

A possible faulty BIOS update may have caused the problem you are experiencing.

Thanks, I tried all the possible combinations but, you can't get into the bios, the screen wrote:

PROCESSOR TYPE: AMD Athlon Silver....
Processor speed: 2300Mhz
L1/L2/L3 Cache Size...
Channel A: 8192MB
BIOS Revision/Date 86F3 vF01 07/20/2022

But, then it disappears and restarts

Hi @Gaia2015

You seem to be in a similar situation found at this Link. The MB specs in your previous response show a 86F3 BIOS. The MonkD MB requires a 86F2 BIOS. You have the wrong BIOS version. I can't find a 86F2 version. The only download reference available for your PC is for HP Cloud Recovery.

You need to flash the MB using the 86F2 BIOS version to fix the USB problem.

It looks like there may be no fix. Sorry but I have nothing else to suggest short of replacing the MB.

Contact HP for factory service or find a replacement MB at eBay or similar sites. Have a local PC Tech replace the MB.

Don't do any BIOS updates or you will find yourself in a MB replacement loop.

Hello, thanks for the advice, I think an automatic update has occurred and it has not been successful, I will look for a MB to replace.
Thank you again.

Hi @Gaia2015

My pleasure.

Also, after fixing the problem I would not do HPSA BIOS updates.

Also stop HP Firmware updates offered by Windows Update.

Enter Advanced System Settings in Search. Select the Hardware tab.

Select Device Installation Settings. Select No. Save changes.

Select Apply then OK.
