The "Inaccessible Boot Device" error on your HP Notebook 15q-ds0026tu running Windows 11 is often encountered when the operating system fails to access the system's partition or boot files. Here are some steps to help troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Enter Safe Mode
- Restart your PC.
- As soon as the HP logo appears, press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds to force a shutdown.
- Repeat this process three times. On the third restart, Windows will enter Advanced Startup Options.
- Go to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings.
- Click on Restart.
- When the Startup Settings menu appears, press F4 to start your PC in Safe Mode.
Perform Startup Repair
- In the Advanced Startup Options, navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair.
- Select your operating system (Windows 11).
- The system will attempt to diagnose and repair any startup issues. Follow any prompts you receive during this process.
Update or Reinstall Drivers (Safe Mode)
- Enter Safe Mode as described above.
- Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type devmgmt.msc and press Enter to open Device Manager.
- Expand Disk drives and check for any drivers that need updates.
- Right-click on the drive and select Update driver.
- Alternatively, you might need to reinstall drivers if updates aren't effective.
Let me know how it goes.
