Microsoft Windows 11

Since updating the BIOS to F.33 Rev A a couple of weeks ago I am suffering from intermittent thermal shutdowns. Sometimes the PC will run happily all day and others it'll boot saying it shutdown due to a thermal event even though I actually performed a normal shutdown. This morning it did just that and then failed again a few minutes after boot, but is running again now.

HWInfo tells me everything is running cool enough and when running I can run things Ike UserBenchmark to load it without issue when it's behaving.

There was no issue before the BIOS upgrade so it seems too much of a coincidence that it's anything else causing it.

I have had the case open and checked the fans and heat-sinks etc and all are running and everything is clean.
